Core IP Operations Engineer with German

YOUR DAY TO DAY:

Preventive and corrective second level troubleshooting ensuring quality, continuity of service and the restoring time for IP Core elements. Perform data configuration, software rollout and support integration activities with planning and delivery functions.

WITH THESE SKILLS YOU ARE A GREAT CANDIDATE:

• Good knowledge of IP networking principles and protocols – IP Routing & IP Switching, TCP/IP, Dynamic Routing (OSPF, BGP), VPN, VPLS, MPLS, QOS, IS-IS, IPv4, IPv6
• Good knowledge of network security principles and protocols, firewall and load-balancer operations and administration
• Hands-on experience with Cisco (i.e. Nexus, ASR, ASA), F5 or A10 load-balancers, Fortinet or Palo Alto firewalls, Juniper (i.e. SRX)
• Good knowledge in vendor architectures of Cisco (IOS) and Juniper (JUN-OS)
• English (advanced:spoken and written) and German (beginner: spoken and written + willing to learn and improve)

MUST HAVE TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree: faculty of Electronics , Telecommunications and Information Technology
• 2 years of experience in IP Network Operations and Maintenance activities
• CISCO trainings and certificates or equivalent
• Firewall/Security trainings and certificates or equivalent
