Responsibilities:

  • Operate, administer and maintain assigned systems or services on assigned systems according to the agreed maintenance plan, specified in Manage data and Manage Operation procedures, in order to deliver customers high quality services
  • Perform fault detection, analysis, isolation, rectification and verification activities accompanied by a close cooperation with vendor and other operational teams in order to supply the defined quality of assigned systemsWhat knowledge and skills do we expect?
  • Participate in on-call duty rotation.
  • Cooperate closely with technology development departments (e.g. Engineering, Systems Development, etc.) in the implementation and testing of new features, services or systems at area of responsibility.
  • Participate in assigned platform development, upgrade and patch planning. Participate in the delivery of assigned application related development projects and enhancements, continuously checking the performance of infrastructure elements and perform the necessary hardware and software lifecycle refresh projects to keep services exceeding service levels.
  • Escalate Incidents to a vendor and partly manage the vendor in order to find and implement recommended corrections according to an appropriate Service Level Agreement.
  • Prepare and update internal operational documents concerning assigned systems, e.g. On-call Support Binders, Alarm Binders, Maintenance Documents, Vendor Incident Reports etc., to ensure all people involved will be informed.
  • Implement customized scripts/software tools in order to enhance monitoring, operation & maintenance and troubleshooting tasks of assigned systems, so that high quality service is assured.
  • Perform other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.
