CORNEA AND CATARACT SURGEON WANTED
LifeBridge Health’s Krieger Eye Institute (KEI) represents over 80 years of a singular focus: the eyes of Baltimore. This team of 12 highly trained ophthalmologists who, over the years, have earned the Baltimore Magazine Top Doc award many times work alongside nine resident physicians in the ACGME accredited ophthalmology residency program.
LifeBridge Health’s Sinai Hospital is a regional medical campus for the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Sinai faculty who teach their medical students can receive faculty appointments at GW.
The Krieger Eye Institute is looking for a Cornea and Cataract Surgeon to work primarily at Sinai Hospital, just off Interstate 83 in Baltimore City, but also at our convenient Quarry Lake office, which is only a few miles from Sinai and located close to the 695 Beltway, in Baltimore County.
As a cutting-edge teaching institution, we are patient-centric and practice collaboratively in clinic with faculty members of all subspecialties. We’re looking for a Cornea and Cataract Surgeon to join our team.
IF YOU POSSESS THESE QUALIFICATIONS, PLEASE APPLY IMMEDIATELY:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology
- Fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery
- Ability to successfully obtain a Maryland medical license without restrictions
- Current DEA certificate and CDS license and BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
