This Perth privately-owned and operated Property Developer sets the bar high when it comes to delivering residential apartments and mixed-use projects. With a focus on engaging with the community and understanding what is important. They create homes and destinations where people want to live and visit.
Our client is truly invested in ensuring all their developments improve the way residents live and connect with urban activity.
With a growing pipeline of projects, they are seeking an experienced and professional Corporate Accountant to support the business in the financial management through the lifecycle of all projects.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- You will oversee the transactional accounting functions.
- Review and approve bank payments (suppliers, payroll)
- Manage month end close for the whole group.
- Manage the month end accounting entries/accruals/prepayments/fixed assets, general ledger.
- Manage and oversee cashflow forecasts, P&L, budgets and monthly variance analysis.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, business partners and provide requested information.
- Manage annual insurance renewals.
- Lodgement of monthly BAS and payroll tax returns for entire group.
To be successful you will hold the below:
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting and/or Finance.
- Professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA).
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience post qualification.
- Previous experience working in construction/project accounting role desirable but not essential.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including experience in Microsoft Office and Xero and of CHEOPS.
- You will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong accuracy, and attention to detail.
- You will be able to work autonomously and part of a team.
- High degree of personal integrity, initiative, confidentiality, and discretion.
