Description:

Job Description: Senior Corporate Actions Specialist –

  • Understanding International Corporate Action Functions ( German Corporate actions expertise is a plus)
  • Research and analysis of securities documentation and timely processing of information to our clients for upcoming corporate actions on securities, fixed income securities and warrants for the German market
  • Excellent reconciliation skills for client positions
  • Timely and accurate processing of customer instructions to the German market.
  • Escalate all risk issues and compliance violations identified in the course of your daily work to line management in a timely manner.
  • Good collaboration with external custodians, agents, issuers and global internal teams (settlement, client service, securities finance/lending, tax, response teams)
  • Respond and resolve timely and accurate customer inquiries

Education & Preferred Qualification -

  • Successfully completed economics studies, completed banking training or comparable educational background
  • Professional experience in corporate actions of a depositary or a capital management company for at least 4 years
  • Good expertise in the field of corporate actions and general meetings in the German market, as well as very good SWIFT experience
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially MS Excel
  • Knowledge of Cascade, Xact and WM (securities notifications) is a plus
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
