Description:
The Corporate Actions Specialist is responsible for managing and executing corporate actions such as mergers, acquisitions, dividends, and stock splits for a company. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of corporate actions, as well as communicating with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duration: 12 months contract
Working hours: Monday – Friday (8.30AM to 6.00PM / 9.00AM to 6.30PM)
Working locations: Central.
Salary up to $9000
Responsibilities:
- Should be able to identify, organize, prioritize, and supervise transaction volumes, workloads and forecast.
- Ensure information pertaining to mandatory and voluntary corporate actions received from various sources.
- Tracking corporate action notifications on mandatory / voluntary/ choice events received from various sources like swift, email, pdf etc.
- Extracting critical information from event details received from electronic/non-electronic formats and gathering it accurately into the Internal systems
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience across all types of corporate action events.
- Strong Corporate action knowledge and knowledge of APAC market
- Good understanding of Corporate Actions, Income Processing, Structured Products,
- Good leadership skills necessary for assisting with the management of staff to ensure day to day efficiency and control of corporate actions processing.
- Comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders and complex situations.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
