An exciting and rare opportunity at Royal Canin Australia and New Zealand (based in Melbourne) due to an internal transition.
We are currently seeking a talented individual to join us as a Corporate Affairs Director.
Reporting to the General Manager and an active voice on the Leadership Team, you will lead a passionate team responsible for driving innovation and recommendation of our products and services through effective internal and external communications, public affairs, sustainability, scientific thought leadership/education and community partnerships, while embedding regulatory compliance for Royal Canin ANZ.
As an experienced Corporate Affairs professional and people leader, you will bring expertise in strategic communications, sustainability and community engagement, broader stakeholder engagement and building mutual partnerships.

Manage regulatory issues and crisis management, Consumer PR and community partnerships, scientific communications and education, consumer care and Public & Scientific Affairs stakeholder engagement.

  • Drive Royal Canin’s internal communications, public relations, scientific communications, scientific affairs, and corporate social responsibility activities in alignment with our Royal Canin purpose, overall business strategy, demand priorities and relevant policies.
  • Identify local market and government issues important to the company and pet industry and manage public and industry association relationships to maximise influencing capabilities in coordination with the Mars network.
  • Leadership of Corporate Affairs Function (Australia & New Zealand), managing a team of 14 Associates (Scientific Services Veterinarians, Chief Health Officer, Consumer Care, Sustainability & Partnerships, Communications and Regulatory & Public Affairs).
  • Develop a strong relationship with internal and external Veterinarians, Scientific Advisors, and key opinion leaders
