JOB DESCRIPTION

The Corporate Banking Analyst supports Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to manage an assigned portfolio of customer relationships. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Verifying adequate collateral coverage and processing daily loan requests, gathering and reviewing regulatory filings, overseeing accurate and consistent financial statements spreads, daily monitoring reports and covenant tests in accordance with bank credit policies. Assisting Portfolio Managers in gathering information and preparing credit requests for Credit Approval. Maintaining a compliance monitoring and financial statistic database that tracks credit agreement requirements, receipt of customer’s financial reporting requirements and daily activity on the lines of credit.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Up to one year of experience in a finance/analytical related role

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Strong time-management skills and great attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective analytical and technical report writing skills
