A leading regional bank with a strong presence in the APAC market. It has an approved new headcount in their Credit Risk department.
about the job
- Evaluate intricate financial data, projections, and analyze industry and country-specific risks, providing concise summaries
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex credit structures and borrower profiles
- Enhance the quality and timeliness of documents, ensuring alignment with risk tolerance, policies, and procedures, while identifying key risks and mitigation strategies
- Present clear credit recommendations to the credit committee
- Submit credit proposals promptly within prescribed deadlines for approval by Credit Committees
- Maintain objectiveness in presenting credit risk management information to Credit Committees
- Review rating model inputs for accuracy, consistency, and relevance to assign Risk Ratings effectively
- Independently oversee and monitor critical elements of the credit process and timely escalation of credit risk issues and generate risk mitigation solutions
- Make sure documentation complies with credit procedures and bank policy
- Manage and review routine documentation for existing and new credit portfolios
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive database for managing security and collateral
- Prepare periodic and management information reports for the department

Reporting to the Head of Credit Risk, you’ll be part of a dynamic team with good teamwork and working culture.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor degree with at least 4 years of experience in commercial and corporate banking credit analysis, credit risk and credit admin
- Knowledge of banking products such as bilateral, syndicated loans, trade finance and treasury etc
