JOB DESCRIPTION

U.S. Bank is hiring a Senior Relationship Manager who will manages relationships with Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, or Community Banking’s Energy Industries. This person will grow revenue as directed by senior management by successfully prospecting for new business and retaining and expanding existing customer relationships. They will approve loans within assigned limits, manage loan and portfolio credit quality, source prospects and develop new customer relationships. This person will provide financial advice to customers and sell appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients and make appropriate referrals.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting or other related field
  • Typically 10 or more years of banking experience

  • Strong leadership abilities and strategic management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of division and relation to industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills
