Description:

Summary
This position sells to value, club, or corporate accounts, as it pertains to full price and closeout merchandise. Develops a go-to-market plan to ensure the business grows profitably according to sales projections through both full price and off price merchandise. This includes account financial planning, assortment planning, closeout sales plans, coordinating special product showings, and order management.

YOU HAVE

  • A Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience
  • 8+ number of years of experience in channel sales, corporate sales, or related field
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with channel partners
  • Knowledge of apparel required / preferred
  • Advanced working knowledge with SAP preferred
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions and negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external contacts
  • Proven ability to develop and merchandise profitable assortments.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
    Salary Range: 100,000.00 - 167,000.00 USD Annual

Responsibilities:

  • Develops the go-to-mark plan for liquidation of excess and closeout inventory.
  • Collaborates effectively with internal and external departments that are responsible for sales, marketing, product development, and operation support for the value channel accounts.
  • Develops and implements the go-to-market process for assigned channel(s). This includes but is not limited to creating all sales tools, aligning with brand goals and objectives, product development, order management and negotiating terms and discounts.
  • Manages assortment planning for assigned channel line(s). Ability to develop and merchandise a profitable assortment for both Columbia Sportswear Company and the account.
  • Utilizes reporting tools and customer data to monitor sell-thru across assigned channel(s). Works with sales analysts to drive sales, margin, and inventory turns.
  • Manages all orders from order entry to shipment.
  • Submits monthly and quarterly excess and closeout sales volume and profit margin forecasts. Maintains a weekly and monthly report on sales, profit margin, and inventory.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
