YOUR SKILLS

  • Degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related fields.
  • Minimum five years of related experience in communications with at least two years of people management experience. Prior experience in communications agency is highly desirable.
  • Firm knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong initiative, critical thinking and commitment to quality work, and able to handle projects independently
  • Collaborative, with good interpersonal skills, a team player who strives for win-win collaboration with and positively influences internal and external stakeholders from different cultures

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and cultivate relationships with key media contacts and drive image positioning with regular media interaction.
  • Create opportunities for positive media exposures and corporate positioning with key stakeholders.
  • Increase engagement with digital media and integrate the Henkel Corporate Websites and social media as part of the external communications strategy and tools.
  • Preparation of media and briefing documents, such as like press releases, factsheets, speeches and presentations in line with corporate key messages.
  • Steer and implement 360-degree sustainability communication and events on a project basis.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute corporate activities such as executives’ visits, townhalls, regional meetings and corporate social responsibility activities.
  • Act as a custodian of corporate identity and brand, by maintaining and updating corporate identity guidelines and templates, as well as provide counsel to BUs and functions.
  • Provide copywriting and design counsel and support to stakeholders on a range of collaterals including posters, signages, digital screens, etc.
  • Assist in implementing regional communication activities, contributing to enhancing brand presence across Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
  • Support crisis communications program that complements the Henkel Crisis Management plan to ensure clear, timely and orderly communications in time of crisis, product recall or related issues that require fast and unified responses to internal and external audiences.
  • Other corporate communications duties as assigned.
