Description:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive internal and external communication strategies featuring consistent and engaging messages/themes.
- Manage media relations and pitch stories to relevant outlets.
- Supervise social media campaigns, content calendars, and weekly posts, and monitor feedback across platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Group and regional teams to tailor communication plans to meet specific needs.
- Generate various materials including press releases, speeches, presentations, award submissions, and Q&As.
- Provide support for crisis communication efforts.
- Identify, recommend, and submit entries for industry awards.
- Assist in change management initiatives and associated communications.
- Ensure the company website remains current and captivating.
- Produce internal communications such as the Group newsletter and Icon Magazine.
- Foster enduring relationships with key stakeholders, strategic partners, and local media outlets. Actively pursue and coordinate media opportunities, including interviews and commentaries.
- Oversee Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Commerce, Business, Journalism, or related field.
- At least two years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with mass email tools for membership programs preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Willingness to work weekends and beyond standard hours when necessary.
