Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal and external communication strategies featuring consistent and engaging messages/themes.
  • Manage media relations and pitch stories to relevant outlets.
  • Supervise social media campaigns, content calendars, and weekly posts, and monitor feedback across platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with Group and regional teams to tailor communication plans to meet specific needs.
  • Generate various materials including press releases, speeches, presentations, award submissions, and Q&As.
  • Provide support for crisis communication efforts.
  • Identify, recommend, and submit entries for industry awards.
  • Assist in change management initiatives and associated communications.
  • Ensure the company website remains current and captivating.
  • Produce internal communications such as the Group newsletter and Icon Magazine.
  • Foster enduring relationships with key stakeholders, strategic partners, and local media outlets. Actively pursue and coordinate media opportunities, including interviews and commentaries.
  • Oversee Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Commerce, Business, Journalism, or related field.
  • At least two years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with mass email tools for membership programs preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  • Willingness to work weekends and beyond standard hours when necessary.
