This role will report to the Head of Marketing, Australia and have a functional reporting line to the Corporate Communications Director, EMEA. The Manager, Corporate Communications, Australia will be responsible for designing, developing and executing a dynamic Australia communications program that achieves high impact and connects priority audiences with Dimensional. The role will also support the execution of a dynamic communications program for our Singapore and Hong Kong offices. Key relationships include Marketing, the Global Client Group and Investment teams, industry peers, thought leaders, influencers, and external agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of communications experience, ideally in the asset management/finance industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive with strong media relationships and proven track record of securing high impact coverage
  • Sound judgment and an ability to quickly establish confidence and build influence with leadership, media and other stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze data and present information in a clear and compelling way
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, including developing and managing high performing teams and collaborating with/across teams to achieve the best results
  • Interest in developing new approaches to communications/public relations in an evolving digital landscape
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, communications, marketing, journalism, or related field

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Marketing, Australia to develop and oversee a proactive Australia communications strategy and program that protects and advances Dimensional’s reputation as a leader and innovator in investing.
  • Work with the Corporate Communications Director, EMEA to execute a proactive communications strategy and program for our Singapore and Hong Kong offices that protects and advances Dimensional’s reputation as a leader and innovator in investing.
  • Provide strategic counsel to Dimensional leadership on corporate, external, and employee communications, media, and other areas related to reputation.
  • Develop, lead, and oversee communications campaigns, materials and platforms, including firm announcements, campaign plans and assets, press releases, holding statements, op eds, Q&As, executive briefings, talking points, speeches, presentations, and an employee newsletter.
  • Partner with the Manager, Channel Marketing to align public presence and brand awareness strategy to Channel needs for paid media activity.
  • Develop, strengthen and leverage relationships with top-tier APAC media outlets and industry influencers to maximize corporate announcements, campaigns and build support amongst key constituencies.
  • Develop the public profile of leaders and elevate Dimensional research and insights, including finding and securing strategic media and speaking opportunities, as well as awards and other recognition.
  • Advise and coach senior leaders and spokespeople on communications and messaging for media interviews, public speaking engagements, staff events, and other internal and external forums.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing, Australia to direct and manage our Australia PR agency to ensure alignment with the broader global program, effective delivery, and meaningful impact.
  • Work with the Communications Director, EMEA to direct and manage our Singapore PR agency to ensure alignment with the broader global program, effective delivery, and meaningful impact.
  • Contribute to Dimensional’s narrative and market positioning.
  • Work with global Director of External Communications to develop crisis management plans and procedures that allow for rapid response as required.
  • Establish strong and collaborative relationships with global Communications and Marketing colleagues to ensure all initiatives are aligned, consistent, and synchronized.
