Working closely with the CEO, the Chief of Staff and executive team, we are looking for an operationally oriented Corporate Counsel to manage the legal and corporate affairs of our diverse global business. You will safeguard our reputation by managing risks in business process and decision making and provide timely advice to the executive team on all relevant issues.
The successful candidate will also support broader risk management initiatives, corporate governance and other operating activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with an interest in expanding their legal background into a broader mandate.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Legal: Give accurate and timely advice to stakeholders on a variety of relevant legal issues. Work cross-functionally by supporting and advising internal and external stakeholders on a variety of matters; including, corporate, labor, technology, data and security. Review, draft and solidify a variety of agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
Risk Management: Apply effective risk management techniques. Support offloading risk through the insurance program. Provide oversight to the safety and fleet management programs and other operational initiatives.
Corporate Governance and Corporate Affairs: Develop internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance. Manage the Company’s cap table and stock incentive plans. Support shareholders regulatory communications.
Data Privacy and Governance: Develop and oversee the application of the company data privacy policy, act as the company DPO ensuring alignment of contractual arrangements.
IP: Manage the Company IP program including patents and trademarks (software and biologicals).
