We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist with proficiency in high-volume credit card processing, coupled with experience in general ledger management and accruals. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounts payable processes within our fast-paced healthcare environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience, with a focus on high-volume credit card processing.
Strong understanding of general ledger management and accrual accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with a track record of meeting deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Manage high-volume credit card processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established timelines.
Reconcile credit card statements and accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.
Process invoices accurately, matching them with purchase orders and receiving documents.
Perform accruals and journal entries to ensure accurate representation of financial data.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and streamline accounts payable processes.
Maintain organized and accurate records of invoices, payments, and related documentation.
Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
Provide support for audits and special projects as needed.
