Alera Group is looking for an Corporate Events Manager to join our team!

Alera Group is seeking a Corporate Events Manager focused on building and delivering exceptional event experiences for both internal and client-facing events in the US. This includes in-person events such as leadership meetings, client events and trade show initiatives, along with virtual events such as client webinars and town halls. This role will also partner with field marketers to provide best practices and guidance for both in-person and virtual events delivered at the regional level. As a member of our Corporate Marketing team, you’ll partner with our senior leadership, practices, sales and other Marketing Centers of Excellence to execute events that support our business growth, helping to engage clients, prospects and employees and build their relationships with Alera Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Support planning and execution of all corporate meetings, webinars, conferences and client-facing events. This includes building and maintaining detailed project plans and timelines, status reporting and budget management.
  • Understand business objectives and develop an event strategy that supports business goals
  • Vendor identification and management, including managing planning and production companies, securing event venues, keynote speakers, contract audio visual companies and other associated vendors as required to execute programs.
  • Manage all event communications including save-the-dates, invites, reminders, updates, etc.
  • Coordination of pre-event tasks such as briefing templates, printed materials, gifts and giveaways, signage, seating charts, presentation materials, etc.
  • Onsite event staffing which includes speaker management, coordination with vendors, registration desk management, distribution of materials, oversight of presentations/AV needs, etc.
  • Coordination of post-event tasks such as final data management, collection of feedback and event debrief documents.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, especially in high-stress situations, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in corporate event management required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing communications or similar field
  • Strong proficiency working in Microsoft Products (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to problem solve and offer creative solutions
  • Must be able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Exceptional project and time management skills required
  • Strong attention to detail, execution and follow through with little supervision
  • Candidate will be a creative, innovative and quick thinker who understands event/marketing best practices and concepts
  • Experience with WebEx, ON24, Adobe Connect or other webinar programs
