Dessert Holdings is looking for a Corporate Financial Analyst to be located at headquarters in St. Paul, MN. This individual is responsible for providing analytical leadership and reporting excellence for the enterprise. This individual will need to effectively partner with internal and external resources to acquire, analyze, and communicate data in a compelling way that drives deep business understanding.
The hired candidate can expect to make between $75,000 to $85,000 annually. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate B.S. Degree emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Analytics
  • At least 2 years of professional work experience
  • Intermediate to advanced level of Excel experience
  • Experience providing financial information to business partners
  • Curious and able to take initiative; adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Able to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Efficient data analysis capabilities on large data sets
  • Experience with business intelligence and/or planning and budgeting software applications Power BI a plus
  • Consumer Packaged Goods and Food Industry experience a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal Finance team, company leadership, and external consultants to aid in data acquisition and analysis, financial modeling, and corporate reporting
  • Contribute to company’s success by providing critical reporting and analysis to drive strategic decision making.
  • Support commercial teams by developing valuable data analysis including sales reporting, margin analysis, working capital management, and innovation
  • Perform ad-hoc diligence to support M&A transactions
  • Be a key player in the design and maintenance of our consolidation financial system to enable efficient data acquisition and drive quick decision making
  • Develop cross-functional partnerships to facilitate deep business knowledge
