Description:
We are seeking an exceptional and passionate candidate to help us provide outstanding Corporate Governance. You will be responsible for ensuring that meeting papers are issued to required deadlines and that the meeting, runs smoothly and efficiently.
You will enjoy working in a complex, fast-paced environment and cope well with pressure, ambiguity, and changing demands. You will be highly organised, a self-starter, confident and prepared to go the extra mile on a daily basis. You will be looking for a challenge and an opportunity to learn and develop rather than looking for “just a job”.
You will need to establish strong relationships and inspire confidence from those working at the most senior level. You will be able to work with minimal supervision in an organised, efficient manner in order to maximise the effective use of your own time and that of the Trust Board.
You will be conscientious, meticulous and confident in engaging and communicating to a high standard, while maintaining confidentiality at all levels at all times
The role provides efficient and effective administrative support to the Trust’s Corporate Governance team and will lead on allocated aspects of support to the Board of Directors, Council of Governors and their Committees/Groups: in particular the Trust’s Board Committees. This includes taking notes and minutes of meetings, organising meetings and events; filing and copying; managing correspondence; maintaining information or databases; obtaining stationery supplies, and undertaking other support activities.
You will have the opportunity to get involved in multiple governance projects, enabling you to develop your skills and wider NHS knowledge.
