Corporate Inside Account Manager

About our Team
Reporting to the Regional Director of Inside Sales, APAC, you will be part of the dynamic Inside Sales organization that is responsible for our APAC region clients.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing, protecting and growing the revenue within a territory of corporate accounts in APAC. The clients are primarily based in ANZ, South East Asia and South Asia. You will lead the upselling and cross selling actions to existing accounts and engaging with new prospect clients.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and targeting revenue growth opportunities within an assigned territory of corporate accounts
  • Developing and implementing a detailed strategic sales plan to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Fostering relationships to boost up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with customer organizations’ decision makers.
  • Developing targeted sales plans and managing their execution with Solutions Sales Managers and others.
  • Engaging with inactive accounts within the territory to drive additional revenue
  • Managing customer relationships, health, status, and contract negotiations as owner.
  • Articulating Elsevier’s Research Solution suite’s unique features showcases understanding and value proposition.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of Account Management and New Business Development experience in the corporate segment
  • Be able to display excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and influencing skills, and ability to deliver results
  • Be self-motivated and driven and love building relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Have excellent skills building out (expanding) business with a customer and in strategic account planning.
  • Be well versed in consultative sales or value based selling experience.
