JOB DESCRIPTION
You are a passionate and team orientated person with excellent communication skills and a drive to be the best at what you do.
As an Associate in Equities Sales you will be responsible for maintaining and developing key institutional relationships (asset managers, pension funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds etc) as well as the day-to-day sales and execution of all relevant Equity products. You will need to be fluent across these products to be able to navigate conversations with key accounts and provide relevant market insight along with idea generation. In addition, you will bring a collaborative approach working with our business partners in both trading and research as well as other product areas to provide comprehensive client coverage across the platform.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS
- 3+ years of sales experience in a relevant sales client facing role in relevant products
- Strong understanding of fundamental product knowledge
- Strong proficiency in Bloomberg, MarketAxess, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Clear, logical thinker with strong qualitative skill set including; effective communication and presentation
- Able to understand and transact equity products
- The individual should be self-motivated, with the drive and skill to seek out new client opportunities and produce thoughtful trade ideas
- Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the equities distribution team to increase product penetration into both the domestic and international client base
- The candidate needs to be able to deal confidently with people at all levels in the organization
- Manage relationships with equity analyst to assist in helping to increase their ratings with client base
- Provide thought provoking stock ideas in consultation with the sales and analyst teams
- Assist in managing client relationships and contributing to the strategic planning of client coverage models
