About the Role
As a Corporate Lawyer specializing in energy & resources, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex transactions and projects, advising leading players in the industry on matters including project development, acquisitions, divestitures, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with a team of experienced legal professionals and industry experts, contributing your expertise to deliver innovative solutions and achieve successful outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Advising clients on legal and regulatory issues affecting the energy & resources sector.
Conducting due diligence, drafting transaction documents, and negotiating deals.
Providing strategic advice and risk assessment to clients on commercial transactions and projects.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery and proactive engagement.
Keeping abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to provide clients with timely and accurate advice.
Requirements
Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Australia with a minimum of 2 years PQE.
Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations governing the industry.
Proven track record of handling complex transactions and providing strategic advice to clients.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently under pressure.
