About the role

We are looking for a Corporate Lawyer, Technology who will provide quality, commercially astute and timely legal advice to ANZ clients in an efficient and pro-active manner. You will frequently partner with other enablement functions including other parts of the legal team, Procurement, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Technology and Tax to negotiate compliant technology contracts and support the delivery of ANZ’s technology projects.
While much of your work will be Australia-focused, ANZ operates in multiple jurisdictions and has technology suppliers based all around the world. The Technology Legal Team supports technology projects globally and your work will reflect this. The ANZ regulatory environment is increasingly complex. You will be involved in regulatory and legislative reform projects, and you will be required to advise on compliance initiatives to meet new and changing regulatory requirements.
You will also need to instruct and manage external law firms who provide additional assistance from time to time.
