Mileway is looking to hire a Corporate Recruiter to become part of our HR team in Amsterdam. You will work on local and international vacancies where besides your hands-on mentality, your visionary mindset will help us grow further. We’re professionalizing our recruitment department and you can be part of this process, share your ideas and learn everything about setting up HR in an international scale-up environment.
You will report to the Recruitment Manager and work closely with the HR Business Partners and HR specialists, hiring managers and suppliers. The HR team consist of 3 HR Business Partners, 2 Recruiters, one of which is this vacancy, 4 HR Officers, Learning & Development Manager, HR Process & Data Specialist and the Head of HR.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire recruitment process from job posting to final stages, including offer recommendation and creation, negotiation, closing, and onboarding.
  • Act as a Mileway ambassador, ensuring alignment with company standards in caliber, cultural fit, diversity, and candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Utilize expertise in best practices and the capabilities of both internal and external recruiters to effectively acquire diverse talent.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of open roles to the Recruitment Manager, functional hiring managers, and leaders.
  • Continuously cultivate an external talent pipeline by proactively sourcing high-quality candidates, fostering relationships for future opportunities, maintaining connections with external agencies and talent sources, exploring innovative recruitment methods, and staying abreast of recruitment trends.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify key capabilities and experiences necessary for success in their roles, devising strategies for recruitment and working together to attract diverse candidates possessing the requisite skills and capabilities to fulfill both short and long-term business objectives while upholding Mileway’s distinctive culture.
  • Talent Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing channels and techniques to identify and attract high-quality candidates, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking events, and direct sourcing.
  • Candidate Screening and Assessment: Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit through interviews and if necessary, an assessment.
