Description:

The candidate will assist the company secretaries in handling a portfolio of companies and his/her responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of resolutions and minutes of directors and shareholders, attending to the opening/closing of bank & other corporate accounts and updating of such mandates,
  • Timely lodgement of documents with ACRA, preparing/maintaining statutory records and computerized client database; providing client support through phone and email correspondence;
  • Complying with the clients’ standard operating procedures
  • Performing any other ad-hoc assignments as may be assigned

Training will be provided.

QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferably an ICSA holder, or a candidate from the polytechnic or university planning to pursue the ICSA course. Candidate with ICSA membership will be an added advantage.
  • Good command of English and good verbal and writing skills; able to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • 2-3 years of experience in corporate secretarial work and conversant with Singapore corporate secretarial practices and the Singapore Companies Act (will be an added advantage)
  • Technology skills and ability to learn, adapt and leverage on technology.
  • Good time management, attention to detail, follow through, staying informed with organizational initiatives and priorities.
  • Able to prioritize, work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle clients professionally.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team yet able to carry out tasks assigned independently.
