REQUIREMENTS:
- Academic Grade 12.
- Relevant tertiary degree / diploma – Security Management or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a Security Manager or similar position
- A current and full driving licence (No endorsement) *Code 8/10
- Experience in ATM/ Banking/Cash Handling
- Proficiency in security assessments, audits and investigations at a large scale
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Military/Law enforcement and business administration experience
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility of the role is to ensure that the volume of ATM and CIT attacks and cash loss is kept to an absolute minimum.
- Build an ATM physical security strategy which minimises the threat of cash and works in conjunction with external parties to ensure that the perpetrators of crimes against NCR are caught and handed the maximum possible sentencing.
- Work alongside colleagues to ensure that, where appropriate, security tools are implemented both at the ATM and across the wider network to ensure that the ATM and the associated network remain protected against known and future physical, logical and cyber threats.
- Continually assess and analyse the latest industry threats to ensure that our employees and equipment remain safe.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies, prominent 3rd parties and emergency responders to ensure effective security and emergency response plans; the aim of this collaboration is to influence behaviors and conduct that makes our overall risk lower and ATM’s safer.
- Ensure that all incidents resulting in the damage or loss of company property are effectively investigated and reported.
- Oversee the day-to-day security operations, including emergency response planning and recoveries.
- Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
- Oversee the delivery of a comprehensive risk register and business continuity plan, ensuring that mitigating and contingency actions are in place for all the key business risks.
- Create “Best in Class” Security procedures and processes, ensuring that these are fully implemented across all areas of the business so that our employees remain safe during the conduct of their duties.
- Conduct investigations into behaviors which violate company policies, possible fraudulent activities and other disciplinary violations, accidents, incidents and advise Management and Human Resources on recourses to be followed in line with company disciplinary code of conduct.
- Ensuring that the business complies with all internal and external health and safety and operational regulatory requirements, and that employees operate in environments which are safe and secure.
- Ensure that all health and safety incidents are appropriately investigated and that corrective actions where needed are robustly implemented.
- Supporting Service Operations and the Global Security Team where necessary to ensure the smooth running of our business.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of security technologies, systems, local and international best practices, and ensure their effective implementation in the company.
- Educate employees on security awareness, policies and procedures through training programs and communication initiatives.
- Execute weekly and monthly reports in a timeous manner to all stakeholders.
