Essential:

  • High literacy and numeracy levels - must have Math and English to at least GCSE level or equivalent.
  • A proven interest in sustainability and CSR issues.
  • Some experience of working within the professional services office environment
  • Proficient in Outlook and solid experience using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent all-round communication and writing skills, with the ability to summarise key messages in clear language
  • Can do attitude, energetic, enthusiastic; demonstrates persistence and adaptability
  • Professional approach and delivery of work product

Responsibilities:

This role offers the right candidate a launch pad for a career in CSR and/or internal and external communications within a highly successful company. The role will offer exposure to leaders within the business who are committed to driving initiatives forward.
Job Purpose:
The Corporate Social Responsibility Assistant will be instrumental in assisting TMHCC in the on-going implementation and support of the CSR strategy and activities. The individual will provide coordination and administrative support, internal/external communications assistance and data analysis support and will work closely with our CSR Manager. They will also work closely with the Marketing and Communications team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the CSR Manager to deliver the Company’s CSR strategy for the UK and International.
  • Plan and deliver all CSR activities with the CSR Manager - ranging from charity fundraising, volunteering and raising awareness campaigns
  • Manage all internal employee fundraising request enquires, processing all match funding with the Finance Team and tracking and reporting it on the Fundraising Log.
  • Monitor the UK Charity inbox, and Social Committee inbox, responding to all internal queries.
  • Support in developing and maintaining charity partner relationships, checking in regularly and working with them to design and deliver new projects that engage employees.
  • Deliver internal and external CSR communications on charity, D&I and wellbeing with the CSR Manager - including social media, regular newsletters and delivery of relevant communication campaigns.
  • Regularly update and develop the CSR intranet pages on the internal SharePoint site.
  • Process charity payments and monitor the UK and European charity budgets accurately.
  • Prepare relevant reports and documentation with the CSR Manager for the UK and European Charity Committees.
  • Work with the Social Committee to deliver a variety of socials throughout the year that engage employees and prepare communications.
  • Assist on the development of D&I initiatives for key awareness days such as Black History Month, International Women’s Day and Mental Health Awareness Week.
  • General support to the UK Marketing and Communications teams as needed.
