Description:
We have an excellent opportunity for a passionate Corporate Social Responsibility Manager to join our regional construction business in Leeds. The CSR Manager role is key in driving our Social Value culture across the region in a role that will engage internal and external stakeholders across our projects in the region.

Responsibilities:
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
As Corporate Social Value Manager you’ll be working within the Leeds business supporting Senior Management, Leadership and project teams in achieving Kier standards in Social Value. The successful individual will take a pro active role in planning and driving delivery of Social Impact and Corporate Social Responsibility from tender through delivery of key projects ensuring that we maximise the benefit to communities we serve.
Your day to day will include:
- Fully understand and communicate to the business Social Value drivers of construction frameworks, local authorities and private clients, representing Kier on relevant external and internal social value working groups.
- Work collaboratively with the Business Development team to focus CSR activity around key clients and target sectors for future wor, contributing to bids in the form of CSR question responses, develop and communicate appropriate CSR strategy and project plans.
- Collaborate with in-house procurement teams and supply chain partners to support and deliver target commitments
- Establish local contacts and develop and grow relationships to support social value agendas, supporting regional construction projects with the delivery of CSR plans and contract commitments.
- Develop tools and best practice guides , map, monitor, report and evidence all elements of CSR activity .
This role of CSR Manager is great for you if:
- You can demonstrate experience of preparing and managing Social value project
- You have sound knowledge of the build environment sector / construction industry and how social value can be maximised in this environment.
- You can plan, monitor and report volume data sourced from multiple pools accurately
- Applicants must hold current full UK driving license as regular travel around projects and stakeholder engagement events will be require
