QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field plus 2 to 5 years of experience or a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.

Responsibilities:

TYPICAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES FOR FINANCE MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

Audit and analyze a variety of financial information used in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, business plans, prices, costs of products and services, and submit results.
Monthly closing, input and output data control, indicator calculation (manufacturing costs, cost of materials, measured inventories, cost variances).
Building standard costs based on budgets.
Collect cost information and maintain an expenses control database.
Collect cost information and maintain a scrap control database.
Execute costing roll-ups.
Analyzing costs from Purchasing
Analyzes Bills of Materials
Identifying and analyzing Routings
Determine fixed costs (e.g. salaries, rent and insurance)
Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs)
Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies/variances.
Prepare budgeting reports.
Assist in preparation (monthly, quarterly, and annual) cost forecasts.
Assisting in month-end and year-end closing
Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Attend external-internal auditors (SAT, Social Security, Customs, EY, KPMG)
Ensuring accurate accounting of Balance Sheet and P&L.
Ensure all HC costs are correctly posted, coded, and accrued of required monthly.
Supports cycle counting and/or annual physical inventory.
Conduct special studies and work with other departments on such matters as preparation of reports, development of procedures and controls, and processing of expenses. Review data and obtain additional information, as appropriate.
Prepare, install and maintain controls for a principal financial or other functional area. Recommend improvements to contain costs, increase oversight capability and be responsive to customer requirements.
Work with suppliers, auditors, consultants, agency representatives and employees to explain practices, respond to questions, and resolve or assist in resolving discrepancies.

COMPLEXITY OF TASKS:

Requires thorough knowledge of financial policies and procedures, and ability to effectively interpret financial operating statistics and communicate information to management. Financial activities, analyses, studies and research are varied and somewhat difficult, and usually involve a moderate level of responsibility.
