Our Cost Management team is looking for a student based out of our office in Calgary to join us in May 2024 to August 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in preparing the cost reports to support cost estimates
  • Attend periodic site inspections along with senior members
  • Provide administrative support in the preparation of estimates in accordance with the CIQS elemental format and, where required, divisional trade format
  • Support the assessment and analysis of any cost variances between estimate stages
  • Learn the business trends and impacts on the real estate and construction industries in the local market
  • Assist in conducting site inspections
  • Support the preparation of periodic reviews of progress claim reports
  • Support the preparation of budget reviews through detailed analysis of development proposals with comprehensive knowledge of typical lender requirements and terms of engagement
  • Undertaking project tasks and provide administrative support as needed
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
  • Learn about maintaining and enhancing client relationships
