Description:

The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred
  • Basic understanding of Economic principals with regards to production quantity
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Participate in cost controlling activities to ensure the best utilisation of the Project’s resources, both capital and labour. These activities will include data and resource analysis, gap analysis and diagnosis, the establishment of cost controller activities and the revision of the Project’s Budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting the cost control team in monitoring project budgets and tracking expenses.
  • Analyzing cost data to identify trends, potential cost savings, and areas of improvement.
  • Collaborating with project managers to develop and implement cost control strategies.
  • Reviewing and reconciling invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and cost forecasts.
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date cost control records and documentation.
