• Collaborate with Project Planners, Project Managers and Project leadership to develop detailed project budgets, including estimates of labour, services, materials, equipment and overhead costs.
• Monitor budget execution through the project lifecycle, identifying deviations and risks, and taking appropriate actions to address them.
• Conduct regular cost analysis to compare expenses against budgeted amounts, identifying variances and their causes, providing insight into cost trends, potential overruns and opportunities for cost reductions where possible.
• Generate regular and ad hoc financial reports that highlight project budget status, expenditures, forecasts and variances, liaising with Project Analysts where needed.
• Liaise closely with project teams to forecast project costs based on data trends and anticipated changes and assist in preparing accurate financial projects for project completion
