Description:
PXGEO is seeking a Finance Specialist with expertise in project controls to join our team. As a Finance Specialist - Project Controls, you will be responsible for forecasting, modelling, and reporting of assigned projects.
In this role, you have an opportunity to contribute to the success of our projects by ensuring financial control and accurate reporting, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree level qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related subject preferred
- Knowledge, experience and skills in finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control and commercial management principles
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Good presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Computer literacy skill set includes MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities:
- Organize and produce efficient and timely Project reporting, with relevant content, forward focus, in accordance with Group instructions,
- Enhance focus on operating cash and provide input for operating cash flows forecasting for assigned projects,
- Support the Finance Controller – F P & A in the bid approvals and contract reviews processes to ensure that financial risks on currency, client, and country of operation are addressed and mitigated.
- Management of certain Transfer Pricing tasks for assigned and not-assigned projects, in collaboration with the Finance Manager - Tax and Finance Controller – F P & A.
- Identifying efficiency savings (e.g., cost savings and time savings).
- Attend various meetings on behalf of the finance team and feedback relevant information to the latter.
- Active involvement in maintaining and improving the Company’s ERP system, continuously improving/introducing automated reports.
- Ad Hoc tasks to support the Head of Operations.
