COST ESTIMATOR (Building and Turnkey Construction)

AUFGABEN

For our expansive civil endeavors, we are currently seeking a skilled Cost Estimator specialized in Building and Turnkey Construction Engineering for a 6-month engagement, with potential for further extension:

• Completed technical education – Civil Engineer or Architect
• Work experience in a comparable position
• Very good computer skills and good command of computer applications in the construction business like MS-Office, AUTOCAD
• Ability to work with international calculation programs (ITWO); knowledge of local calculation program is an advantage
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Experience as a Cost Estimator in a similar position
• Conceptual thinking, teamwork skills, cost awareness as well as structured mode of Operation.

QUALIFIKATIONEN

• Handling on ambitious building projects in building and turnkey construction taking into account economic and technical objectives in collaboration with the Area Manager and the Sub-Division Manager
• Tendering and preparation of cost estimations on your own responsibility in collaboration with internal and external experts
• Evaluation of tender documents and preparation of specific proposals and alternatives (value engineering)
• Presenting the offer in front of the Client
• Quantity survey works in line with General Contractor offers
• Preparation and participation in award of contract with subcontractors and suppliers
• Transferring information from the tender process to the execution team.
