Our product development teams create every shirt, every shoe and every piece of equipment for thousands of athletes and fashion lovers as if it was one of a kind. And it truly is, as they weave their passion into every single product. But translating designs, drawings and renderings into real products requires a lot of decision making.
As Analyst Product Costing, you will be responsible for providing day to day costing analysis, supporting the business to implement cost savings initiatives to hit seasonal product target FOBs and margin. This individual will develop costing reporting and tools to enable design for manufacturing and to achieve optimal product cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare FOB and Margin report and analysis at each key milestone
  • Support in cost analyses of products and components within benchmark projects
  • Provide support and insights to seasonal FOB KPI & reporting tools to facilitate product value / margin / FOB discussion with cross-functional teams and to enhance FOB & margin optimization
  • Communition with stakeholders to validate costing and financial data to ensure reports are completed on time and in full
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in existing costing processes and reporting.
  • Ensure mainentence of cost relevant systems
  • Prepare internal costing calendars in collobarion with relevant stakeholders
  • Support with preparation of costing training materials
  • Support management with projects through analysis and co-ordination of meetings
  • Work collaboratively with Liaison Offices on collecting, maintaining and ensuring all costing material and component prices based on standards are implemented and reflected in the system correctly and in timely manner for all sourcing regions.
  • Support a fact-based costing process in all development and sourcing regions through effective data research and analysis of cost standards

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point / e-mail management).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and fluent in English.
  • Clear, logical analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to investigate data, find trends, forecast performance and provide insightful recommendations

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree in manufacturing, engineering, clothing technology or business, or technical degree as footwear technician
  • Alternatively, combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • First practical experience through internships or work experience is an advantage
