SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and French.
  • Aptitude to succeed in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or relevant field.
  • 3 – 5 years’ proven experience as an analyst in a manufacturing or simial environment
  • Solid understanding of Information Systems, Power BI and MS Excel

Responsibilities:

As part of the Finance team, the Costing Analyst plays a vital role in the following,

  • Maintain cost accounting system and cost ledger.
  • Update cost changes and standard costing and roll up costs.
  • Support the new items’ creation process by providing the correct configuration and cost updates and verify Item cards accuracy.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through reconciliation of inventory accounts and analysis of work in process and other material transactions.
  • Monitor direct vost and overhead rates changes and be sure to reflect to the hourly loaded rate.
  • Monitor obsolete and analyse inventory.
  • Contribute to the preparation of internal reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy.
  • Support team members in improving first-hand knowledge of shop floor physical operations; to validate components costs, perform value engineering and initiate cost saving opportunities.
