Cough/Audio Analysis QA Supervisor

Vitalograph is one of the world-leading manufacturers of medical Spirometers, used in the diagnosis of respiratory disorders, and advanced high-reliability software systems used in clinical drug trials. Based in Ennis, Co. Clare we now wish to recruit a Cough Analysis QA Team Leader to join the cough analysis team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Third level qualification in Business or related discipline
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
High level of PC skills, including experience with Microsoft Office packages
Hard working, motivated, reliable with a good attitude towards their co-workers
Competent person, capable of working under their own initiative with minimal supervision and a good team player
Strong leadership characteristics and people management skills
Ability to deal with employee feedback and discipline in a consistent, fair, timely and discrete manner

THE FOLLOWING SKILLS WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS:

Previous experience in a team lead, supervisory or project management role
Experience in working within a regulated environment

Management of the project QA and Algorithm Validation process
Oversee all the training processes for analysts and QA staff - to include new analyst training, QA analysts training and any retraining of same that may be required.
Provide line management, guidance, training and mentoring to the QA members involved in the Project QA process
Perform appraisals and define personal development and objective plans for team members
Co-ordinate with team management to resolve any irregularities that may arise
Oversee team recruitment and training for the Project & Algorithm Validation processes
Ensure all related SOPs are adhered to
Deliver continuous improvement initiatives with regard to quality and processes
Monthly reporting of QA metrics and all activities
Management of individual and team workload
Active involvement in the creation and review of Cough Analysis Plan and Cough Analysis Summary Documents
Maintain and utilise metrics to monitor the quality of the project QA and Algorithm validation processes
Co-ordinate with other team disciplines to ensure all TAT are met
Provide line management, guidance, training and mentoring to the QA members involved in the training of new analysts & the analysis of monitoring files
