WHAT ON EARTH IS DECIEM?

Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science-first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking to hire a Casual Retail Associate to work across two of our Melbourne locations at Myer Melbourne and our store on Gertrude St, Fitzroy. To be successful, you must be willing to travel across both sites.
The ideal candidate will have availability to work at least 3 shifts per week and will be flexible with their schedule, available to work between Thursday - Sunday, with nights and public holidays included, working around 20-25 hours each week. We are looking for someone with good initiative and is a strong team player.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• Love of beauty products and a passion for skincare
• Comfortable in engaging customers and applying products with the customer while providing consultations
• Ability to multi-task, while providing professional and outstanding customer service
• Effective time management and communication skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Greet all customers who enter the store with enthusiasm and professionalism reflecting DECIEM’s vision through excellent service
• Determine the customer’s needs and suggest relevant products by listening to the customer and sharing the product knowledge acquired during brand training
• Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
• Adhere to the DECIEM experience and deliver unparalleled customer service. Educate customers about the world of Beauty and Skin Care, DECIEM brands and products
• Manage customer feedback and queries
• Operate POS and complete transactions accurately and efficiently
• Participate in inventory control and counts to ensure product stock is up to date
• Contribute to a positive, fun, and professional team environment
• Stay up to date with product knowledge, company information, launches and campaigns
• Perform operational duties such as cash handling, restocking, replenishing products
