Description:
As an Inside Sales Associate, you will sell aerial equipment and industrial tool rentals to businesses in the construction industry, including electrical contractors, mechanical contractors, HVAC contractors, multi-trade contractors, general contractors, and manufacturing facilities. Specific products include aerial booms, scissors, forklifts, telehandlers, welders, electrical bending and pulling equipment, ridged threaders, mechanical tools, and a full line of industrial items from ladders, abrasives, safety supplies, cutting tools, and more. This position involves handling incoming customer inquiries and making outbound calls to existing and potential clients. The base salary is $50,000 - $70,000.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
- 2-5 years of sales experience
- Have industrial sales experience and an understanding of small tools and construction experience.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
- Strong typing and data entry skills
- Ability to navigate and use web-based applications and online tools.
- Knowledge of basic Internet research techniques
- Excellent communication skills for email correspondence and online communication
- Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles
- Ability to learn new software and technology quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new sales opportunities through outbound calling / inbound calls and emailing.
- Manage the sales process, track open orders, and resolve issues promptly.
- Achieve quota attainment and drive profitable growth.
- Determine product pricing using a pricing matrix and other resources.
- Develop strategies to meet margin goals for specific products.
- Conduct estimating, take-off, and proposal duties as required.
