Adecco is presently recruiting for a full-time Counterparty Management Analyst to join our esteemed client, a prominent entity in the oil and gas sector. In this role, you’ll spearhead data cleanup across trading and management systems, including SAP, as part of the CORE system upgrade project. Additionally, you will lead customer outreach, onboarding, and due diligence for our credit card conversion project. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on middle office data cleanup of commodity trading and marketing counterparty data for the full suite of ETRM and ERP systems in advance of the ETRM and ERP system upgrades.
  • Act as key point of contact for new counterparties as part of a credit card conversion project; perform outreach, due diligence, and onboarding activities as per current processes and standards.
  • Assist in developing go-forward processes for onboarding and counterparty management for new commercial counterparties.
  • Support initial Know Your Customer (KYC) screening and maintain ongoing screening.
  • Support customer set-up and ensure systems of record (trade capture and enterprise resource planning systems) are kept current with appropriate counterparty data.
  • Support coordination with Vendor Services to request Vendor set-ups in electronic payment system (SAP).
  • Comply with internal controls and management system processes. Report potential incidents and breaches.
  • Collaborate with the following groups on a regular basis: Trading/Marketing, Contracts, Legal, Credit, Accounting, Treasury, Vendor Services & Risk Compliance.
  • Support and respond to internal and external audits.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and enhancement of operational processes and controls.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary education in business administration, commerce, or data administration
  • Previous exposure and understanding of commodity trading/marketing environment
  • Strong computer skills & proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Outlook, Excel & Word
  • Experience with ETRM platforms and SAP software is advantageous
  • Experience with Content Server and/or SharePoint is an asset
  • Experience in data analytics, data mining, and/or data visualization is also an asset
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance workload with ad-hoc business requests
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
