About the role
This role is responsible for overseeing the operational and financial performance for the designated portfolio, including financial sales and budget planning. It manages different products across the product lifecycle including preparation of new launches.
Additionally, it involves monitoring performance, identifying opportunities and risks, and executing corrective actions in alignment with the XFT.
On the strategic front, the role leads, coordinates and manages the internal XFT and focuses on planning and delivering customer experience and understanding the customer needs.
The role is developing and implementing omnichannel plans, creating tailored content with measurements for marketing optimization.
For Eliquis the Country Brand Lead (CBL) collaborates with the alliance partner for monthly alignment on expected DOTs, cost and if needed parallel trade.
Main responsibilities

Operational and Financial Performance

  • Owns the yearly OP planning, brand planning sales targets, long range forecasting of the portfolio and contributing to ad hoc updates that are reported and forecasted in the latest estimates for the assigned portfolio.
  • Accountable for the planning, spending & controlling of budgets of the portfolio and developing regular spending forecast updates to aid financial planning for the portfolio.
  • Monitor and track performance and stock situations, identify areas of opportunity and risk and develop and execute correcting actions where needed in agreement with the Specialty Care Lead .

Strategy, Execution and Measurement

  • Good knowledge of the brand and designated therapeutic areas
  • Deep understanding of patient journey, key barriers, patient/HCP and payer needs, preferences, and behaviors along the customer journey.
  • Develop and implement local strategic and tactical omnichannel plans by uncovering omnichannel insights along the patient & customer journey and identify the must win moments that represent where to focus to enhance the customer’s current and desired experience.
  • Define smart customer (behavior and experience driven) engagement goals for the omnichannel execution and lead the process of content generation needed to reach the engagement goals.
  • Create local adaptation of immersive, bite-sized content tailored to brands, segments, and channels.
  • Construct and manage tests to optimize marketing efficiency and effectiveness across brands, segments, and channels.
  • Use advanced analytics to measure attribution and drive marketing and sales performance, use CEM dashboard and Adobe Analytics to drive automation.
  • Pursue market innovation opportunities aligned with customer needs and business goals.
  • Lead and align the in-country cross-functional team strategies, tactics, and activities.
  • Building long-term relationships with hematology societies.
  • Support product training for the Field Force.
  • Drive KOL development and advocacy in accordance with Pfizer policies.
  • Ensure high standards of compliance to norms, policies, and procedures.

About you

  • Preferably has a university degree and 6+ years of experience in similar positions or a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in similar positions in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the field of vaccines.
  • Is solution driven and has a proven track record of strategic thinking, proven analytical skills, creativity and excellence in execution of tactics.
  • Is very well organized and able to work in a very dynamic, constantly changing environment.
  • Is a strong team player, has excellent communication skills, influencing skills and leads by example.
  • Ability to understand the effects of the external environment on the fundamental drivers of the strategic accounts and their implications on our business nationally; seize accountability for driving the business forward.
  • Ability to challenge and discuss (un)conventional business solutions with internal and external stakeholders with the aim to establish added value creation and a patient-centered sustainable healthcare environment.
  • Ability to perform and prioritize effectively in stressful circumstances and request timely assistance when required.
  • High level of commercial drive & strong result-driven attitude.
  • Thorough understanding of revenue drivers for the brand/portfolio
  • Role modelling, visibility, upholding values, adhering to standards
  • Ability to facilitate stakeholder & customer commitments and act on customer insights

  • For all CBL roles flexibility is required for the assigned brands/portfolio in the category and focus brands may change as a result of changed market conditions and opportunities
