The role of Country Finance Accounting Leader - Poland is based in our Lighting Group in Cracow

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to company’s maturity growth by sharing lessons learned and general awareness of OPmobility complexity and specifics among team members and other Functions
• Supervise accounting operations in terms of statutory accounting and group reporting
• Responsibility for timely and compliant preparation of financial statements, tax returns, etc.
• Responsibility for all accounting processes in the Company
• Reconciliation of General Ledger accounts and monthly closing process (including performing all month-end, quarterly and year-end closing activities)
• Preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) according to local and Group
• Ensure periodic reconciliation of bank accounts, customer and supplier accounts
• Establish reserves required by local or Group regulations
• Develop and implement accounting procedures for Polish GAAP and Ind AS.
• Ensure preparation work papers and schedules to support quarterly and annual financial review
• Work with internal and external auditors
• Contact with external institutions (ZUS, GUS, US, NBP…)
• Validation of new processes in SAP from accounting and taxes point of view
• Identification of weaknesses in processes, proposition of solutions
• Active participation in SAP project Supervision of work of subordinated team

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master degree in Finance or ACCA / CPA
• Min 6-10 years in Accounting and in Manageing multicultural teams
• Accounting (IFRS/Local GAAP)
• Prior experience as operational head of any given scope (Legal / Mgmt / Treasury) in manufacturing industry
• Lean Six Sigma and/or Business Process Transformation and Continuous Improvement experience
• IT systems data agility, ERP (SAP), Conso (HFM) and Excel as must
• English as must and any other language will be a plus
• Occasionally readiness for travel to Lublin or abroad
