Country Financial Reporting Analyst

RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Acquire strong knowledge of the business
  • Advanced and frequent usage of system tools
  • Compliance with policies and procedures
  • Consistency of accounting/statutory reporting and product line reporting
  • Effective linkage of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other financial performance analyses with financial reporting
  • Timely monthly management reporting
  • Effective flagging of business issues based on financial and trend analysis
  • Continuous improvement of operating and reporting efficiencies

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting or Business/Commerce degree
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience required
  • CA, CMA, CGA or CPA preferred

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • IFRS Technical skills and experience
  • SAP FC/SAP ECC/BPC/SAC experience an asset
  • Strong ability to work independently
  • Advanced MS Excel for reporting and data analysis
  • Advanced MS Powerpoint skills for presentation to senior management
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets and Google slides
  • In depth systems knowledge and experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills- verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability in financial/business analysis
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Business Intelligence skills
  • GAAP knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task

Responsibilities:

  • Perform standard and ad hoc financial analyses for country/markets
  • Provide analysis to support business decisions
  • Participate in the production of monthly reporting package
  • Prepare detailed month end analysis
  • Monitor and ensure Month End reporting schedules and commitments are adhered to
  • Liaise with Shared Services Centre to ensure collaborative achievement of Finance objectives
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments
  • Participate in production of Monthly Sustainability reporting package
  • Participate in review and enhancement to internal controls, accounting policies, and business processesAssist with planning and execution of various forecasting campaigns
