Agilent is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and talented HR Professional, based in the UK or Ireland, to join an established European HR Team. Agilent UK & Ireland operates over 5 Sites and has approx. 600 employees. The role requires you to work with Agilent business leaders, the European HR team and broader HR organization to deliver HR support that advance Agilent’s business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors, Masters degree or equivalent University degree in HR, Law, Business or related field.
  • Experience in HR ideally including HR compliance, Payroll and Reporting
  • Strong relationship-building skills required to guide and partner multi-cultural and geographically dispersed teams in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
  • A custodian who upholds fair and consistent practice
  • A growth mindset ensuring continual learning and up to date knowledge of employment legislation and market trends.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role belongs to the Multi Country Cluster and is an integral part of a diverse European Country HR Team responsible for Country HR activity across Europe. Agilent has approx. 4,600 employees in 15 European countries and the Multi-Country Cluster encompasses 5 of these countries with over 900 employees.
The role requires an agile, Global and collaborative mindset along with flexibility to work in a highly matrixed environment and with Business colleagues and colleagues in teams such as: HR Services / Payroll; HR Business Partners; Total Rewards; Talent Acquisition; Workplace Services; Legal; Finance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Associate Vice President Country HR Multi Country Cluster, Europe, your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Act as a custodian of HR compliance, engagement, and Standards of Business Conduct.
  • Partner with business leaders and HR partners to develop and implement HR strategies and priorities aligned with Agilent’s overall company and business needs, including successful local deployment of Global and Regional initiatives.
  • Manage employee and labor relations activities across UK & Ireland to maintain a robust labor relations climate and engagement that supports ongoing company requirements.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of complex corporate and business changes e.g., reorganizations, acquisitions, divestitures, changes in compensation & benefits.
  • Provide advice and support on people and organizational issues to business leaders and Country Management Teams to enhance business, country & HR outcomes. Includes developing trusted relationships, providing leadership coaching, and acting as a valued partner to Agilent leaders on diverse topics.
  • Shape and lead Country HR projects / initiatives ensuring effective implementation at a local level.
  • Monitor and ensure effective administration and compliance of HR related reporting, policies, and programs in accordance with local legal requirements.
