Country Manager (Costa Rica)

Uptalent.io is seeking a Country Manager in Costa Rica for one of their key clients: A leading company specializing in custom bearings and power transmission solutions, offering a comprehensive range of engineering services and products for heavy industry, including design, manufacturing, distribution, operation, and maintenance. This position will play a pivotal role in overseeing both operational efficiency and commercial success. The occupant will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and driving revenue growth through effective commercial strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related is mandatory.
• Over 10 years of experiences in the following:
• Operations management and commercial leadership roles, preferably in the power transmission or renewable energy sector.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in the following:
• Strong technical aptitude with knowledge of power transmission systems, wind energy technology, and related manufacturing processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, with experience overseeing complex projects from conception to delivery.
• Sound understanding of financial principles and experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metricsFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing the power transmission and renewable energy sectors in Costa Rica.
