Description:
Our client is a very successful trading company that has a global network of top consumer goods manufacturers in the areas of confectionery, beverages, household and personal care products and at the same time successfully develops and positions its own brands. Our client’s sales channels are focused on non-food retail (discount, DIY, drugstore, garden and electronics stores, etc.), which is positioned as a positively surprising sales location for the end consumer.Our client has grown strongly internationally with his concept within 12 years and generates approx. 15% of the turnover in the DACH region.
Aufgaben
The Country Director / Manager is responsible for
- Full P&L responsibility for the DACH region and location Hamburg
- Driving growth in the coming years and realizing the planned increase in sales (doubling)
- Development of the DACH team and the successful recruitment, management and development of the colleagues
- Successful partnering with consumer goods manufacturers and non-food retail customers
- Creating the next state of the art operational model together with external and internal partners
- Integration of a new acquired company into the company
- The alignment of sales to changing customer and sales structures
- Close cooperation with our business development team and definition and implementation of price, product and distribution strategies for the DACH region
- Build a dedicated, standing alone future DACH team in Germany with commerce and operational excellence
The Country Director reports to the Chief Commercial Officer of the parent company in the Netherlands and leads a team of employees in the areas of sales, buying, back-office and operational support. Together with the Commercial Director and Buying Director you form the local Management Team.
