As the Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading our market expansion efforts in Germany. You will be tasked with developing and executing strategies to establish our presence and drive adoption of our hybrid heat pump technology within the German market, one of the main markets in Europe. Your leadership will be instrumental in navigating market dynamics and fostering partnerships to accelerate the transition to sustainable home-heating solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Lead our establishment and expansion of our presence in Germany and spearhead the development of our local team.
- Build up our operations while finding out strategies to win in Germany by rapidly testing and iterating (lean startup).
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets, fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
- Contribute insights and feedback to our product teams.
- Test and scale the highest leverage marketing and sales channels.
- Set up logistics, distribution, inventory, and customer service to ensure efficient operations and high customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on regulations and standards, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in entrepreneurship or successfully establishing and growing new businesses from the ground up.
- Proven track record of success in marketing, sales, business development, and market expansion within the renewable energy or HVAC industry.
- Basic understanding of and interest in the German renewable market, including customer preferences, regulatory landscape, and competition.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in both English and German.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable outcomes and delivering on business objectives.
- Passion for sustainability and environmental conservation, with a genuine commitment to advancing clean energy technologies.
