Description:

Based in Hyderabad and reporting to the VP Global Sales, the Country Manager will develop and grow a dynamic team to support a $15M business and lead a team of 50+ associates including sales, Business development, marketing, customer service, applications, distribution and DBS, with dotted line responsibility for Human Resources and Finance. The individual will manage the P&L in India for growth and profitability.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or similar required, MBA desired with 15 years of work experience and at least 10 years in a leadership position.
  • Entrepreneurial approach to business activities with demonstrated strategic and analytical skills.
  • Experience of working within an international company with a matrix organization.

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Achievement of targets– predominantly contribution but also appropriate metrics to support the contribution e.g., units, market share, revenue, expenses.
  • Support and drive continuous improvement mindset and for all processes and practices within India through DBS.
  • Expansion and development of the India business annually
  • Create an inclusive and collaborative culture across the India team.
  • Effective management of the expense budget
