Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development of the people capability strategy for Country by providing input based on the talent requirements, skills development needs, and succession planning approach for the country.
  • Partner with the Head of HR and relevant HR COEs regionally and globally to drive the learning agenda using data to identify and plan training interventions and address skills gaps. Curate and promote development programmes and engagement plans to support the country strategic people plan.
  • Support the country Talent agenda working with the country leadership teams to track key actions and to provide support with the delivery of those actions in partnership with the Country Head of HR to ensure that related development plans are robust and executed.
  • Support the design and delivery of team effectiveness proposition and actions to strengthen the country team leadership capability.
  • You will work with the Country Heads of HR in as well as the regional People Capability teams.
  • You will report to the Regional Head of People Capability MENAT and be part of a direct team, who focus on talent development, learning, and D&I
    Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Deep technical subject matter expertise in learning, talent, and development, including external trends and developments preferred.
  • Demonstrated awareness of other HR disciplines e.g., talent management, performance management, diversity & inclusion, and reward and how they interplay with development solutions.
  • An understanding and curiosity around people-related challenges and future industry trends
  • Coaching qualifications preferred but not essential.
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to pick up information quickly and work with minimal oversight.
  • Strong project management skills and experience of implementing a regional strategy and meeting / exceeding KPIs.
  • Experience of agile methodology and working in cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability and experience of managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously and working with executive committees.
  • Bachelor’s degree is a must to obtain UAE visa.
