Description:

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or any other related fields; a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration holds an advantage.
  • Specialized training in other related courses such as Sales, Digital Marketing, Business Management, Stakeholder Management etc are added advantage;
  • Excellent command of English, in reading, writing and speaking. Command of other Southeast Asian language holds an advantage;
  • Good knowledge of Marine and Offshore / Oil & Gas industry and its operations

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Sales-related roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales target, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Previous experience in Marine and Offshore / Oil & Gas is desirable.

Responsibilities:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Country Sales Manager for Singapore, he / she will be responsible for leading the sales operations, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence within the region. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership abilities, strong business acumen, and a proven track record in sales management. He / she will work closely with other departments including marketing, supply chain and operations to develop and execute sales strategies, manage key accounts, and ensure customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets;
  • Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to drive business growth;
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions;
  • Maintain formal and informal communication with existing customers and new clients with a view to deepen the Company’s business interests;
  • Liaise with Marketing personnel to align marketing / promotion programmes with the business development objectives;
  • Expand business to new areas / regions with a view to grow companies’ business and revenue;
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets (if any);
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities (if any);
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and customer excellence;
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to Senior Management;
  • Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and resources effectively to maximize return on investment;
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards;
  • Interface with procurement, supply chain and / or project personnel to ensure complete and accurate submittals are received and evaluated to meet end-user deadlines.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance Company’s visibility and network with industry professionals.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Reporting Manager from time-to-time.
